Find me, here in your arms Now I’m wondering where you’ve always been [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.tinypic.com/wb98wn.jpg');,true] BLINDLY I CAME TO YOU!
It had been a long day for Aurora Belle Bailey. She had, had to do observation of a classroom earlier. Which meant that she had to get up at the ass crack of dawn to get ready and make her way to an elementary school where she had to teach art to first graders. Art wasn't really something she liked, but it was the only thing she could get for the time being. She wasn't really artistically inclined, she made stick figures look bad. The only thing she was really good at was painting, and coloring inside the lines. But she drawling, she was a hopeless mess. Luckily, artistic ability wasn't something that was a prerequisite for being a first grade teacher.
She had to be back on campus after her observation because she had a late afternoon class, but after that she also had an appointment with her advisor later in the evening. Which meant that she had plenty of time to kill after her class. So she took herself to the student union building, to one of the lounges. She knew that she would be able to get some work done. What work, she wasn't exactly sure. She knew that she had school work that she could do. But there was also still so much to do for the wedding. Thinking of the wedding made her smile, she looked down at her hand to see her engagement ring. It was perfect, not too big and gaudy, but not to small either. Just the right side for her.
Aurora had prided herself on the fact that she was not a very materialistic person. But boy did she love the way it sparkled. She smiled as she sat down the tables. She took out her laptop and her planer, looking at it as she started up her macbook. There was so much they needed to do yet; a venue, caterer, flowers, music. At least she had managed to get them an amazing photographer that was in budget. James had even gone to check out her out, and he had come home rather happy about the meeting. Though she didn't really know the true reason to that happiness. But the reason she could only assume was because she had done a good job, and picked a good photographer. How could she suspect the more sinister reason behind it? She trusted her fiancée.
She took out her notes from the observation she had to do today. She figured that there was no time like the present to type up her notes and add them to her portfolio. She signed and checked her phone, no messages. Good, she guessed. No distractions right? She placed the notebook beside her and started to type, hoping that time would go by fast.

It was eating him up inside, and he didn't know how to control it. He kept telling himself 'you gotta keep your feelings to yourself', but he was so damn tired of living in the dark with her. He had loved her since they were in grade school, wasn't that enough? He couldn't live with this weight on his shoulders anymore. He had to tell someone, anyone. But, he didn't know who. He couldn't tell anyone without them going back and either saying something to Aurora or James about it. Not that James finding out would change anything. In fact, Bryan would love to see the look on James face if he ever knew. Bryan knew he could tear James apart, so he was just looking for the oppertunity to fight.
He'd kill that little prick right where he stood without even thinking twice about it. If that's what it took to make Aurora his, he'd take on the whole world for her. He growled at the emotions reeling threw him. It wasn't like him to be this messed up over something, but marriage was the end. After that, he had no chance. Not even with divorce, he knew Aurora. She would try to make the relationship last long before she knew it was over. That was just the kind of girl she was. Especially when it came to James. It was like he could do no wrong, and it pissed Bryan off to no end. Which was odd, considering they used to be good friends. But, the minute he was with Aurora, Bryan had nothing to do with him anymore. James knew that he loved Aurora, and he still stole her away from Bryan. He really hated that kid.
He hadn't even been paying attention to where he was walking. So caught up in his own little world that he almost didn't see that beauty that he'd been wracking his brain about sitting and typing away on her laptop. Bryan couldn't help but smile, hiding his feelings back as he always did as he walked up beside her, taking a seat next to her. "Working on a project, kiddo?" he asked, using his usual nickname for her. Even though he was in the same age group as her, he had always called her kiddo. He didn't know why, but the nickname stuck.

Aurora stared at her computer screen, she didn't want to work anymore. In fact she didn't want to do much of anything. She wished that she could just loaf around and be a lazy ass for a few days. She worked hard, not only was she a full time student but she also had a full time job and she was planning a wedding. The girl was busy, none stop, and she never really had time to do anything fun. The last time she'd actually done something fun was... well when her and James were broken up, when she was hanging out with her best friend Bryan. She felt like he was the only person that truly knew how to make her happy. Well besides James of course.
Thinking of Bryan made her sad, she hadn't really seen a lot of him lately. In fact she hadn't really seen a lot of him since she had gotten engaged. Thinking of him make her heart ache in a strange way. She promised herself that she would bury any and all feelings that she had for him. But, she loved the man. There was no getting away from it. She thought that she could channel that love into a friendship, and she thought that, she had been quite successful at it. But when he was gone, she missed him terribly. Way more than she ever missed James. She wondered if it was some sort of sign. But she shrugged it off as just her missing her best friend.
She sighed as her stomach growled. She couldn't remember the last time she had eaten today. Sometimes, with everything going on she forgot to eat. Which lately she had learned was very dangerous for her. Her blood sugar had dropped significantly low the other day when she was at work and she'd gotten dizzy and fell. She'd been better at remembering to eat, but today was such a busy day that she'd been scatter brained. She knew that she could have taken the time that she'd been sitting here doing this project to go get some food, but she knew she needed to get this done. If she got it done, that meant more time she could spent with James tonight. If he wasn't busy studying that was.
Our of the corner of her eye, she saw someone sit down next to her. It made her jump a little bit. But then she looked over at the person and smiled brilliantly at them. Oh Bryan, you were a sight for sore eyes. Though she would never tell him that. She felt that admitting that she missed him as much as she did was just as bad as cheating. "BRYAN!" she exclaimed excitedly, she could still admit that she was excited to see her best friend right? "You must be psychic because I just was thinking about you"

This must've just been his lucky day, or something. For her to be thinking about him, and him thinking about her, this was one of those fate situations. He was really liking this right now. It had been so long since they had actually had a moment together by themselves. James seemed to constantly be there no matter what. He was like this plauge that Bryan tried so desperatly to get rid of, but he just kept popping back up. He never had the heart to stop Aurora froming loving who she wanted to love. He never did care for any of her boyfriends, but he was still supportive of her. He felt like it was his duty to her, like he owed it to her for being such a good friend to him after all these years.
Not to mention, he couldn't stand being mad at her. Or, not being able to see her anymore because of him disapproving of her boyfriend. He'd rather not have her as a girlfriend than not be in her life at all. He couldn't live without her. It was hard enough that he hardly got to see her anymore. "Oh you were? I was thinking about you too. I was thinking that we need to hang out more. I feel like I never get to see you anymore, kiddo." he hung his arm around her shoulder in a friendly way, giving her a half-hug but made sure not to get too close. Bryan didn't ever want to flirt with Aurora, or for her to even know he loved her in that way. He was too scared how she would feel about it. He just had this feeling that he wasn't ever gonna be what she wants. She never went for guys like Bryan. She always went for the pretty boys, and even though Bryan was gorgeous, he was still a fighter.
The guys she dated never seemed to be rough guys, and he knew that the fighting part of him did scare Aurora at times. He just knew that she wouldn't want a man like him, so he didn't even try. He just held in for the sake of just having her company. "How's your school been? It looks like you're really hitting the books, huh?" he asked with a smile as he looked down at her studies.

Something inside Aurora's stomach fluttered when Bryan admitted that he had been thinking of her as well. It was like some kind of cosmic want that had brought them together just as she had been thinking about him and he had been thinking about her. She smiled at her friend, he was so good to her. The only person who had always been there for her no matter what. It honestly made all logical sense that she should be with him. But she wasn't, James had gotten to her first. True sometimes she wished that Bryan had been the first, but fate hadn't worked that way. She didn't want to think about it, but in the back of her mind, buried deep she thought that maybe they might end up together. Now just wasn't their time.
"Its true, we never do see each other." She said with a small pout on her face. Bryan had always been one of the people in her life that she truly felt their absence when they were gone for long periods of time. She missed him when she didn't see him. Without him in her life she felt like half a person, though she'd never admit that. It was strange, her and Bryan had never dated, but when her and James had broken up she had never missed him the way she missed Bryan. Sure she had missed him, she loved James. But she didn't feel like part of her was missing in his absence. Only Bryan. She knew that this was some kind of sign. But she tried not think about it. She loved James, she did. Plus he had given her a ring and she had given him her word. She would try to make this work as long as he did.
"I agree though," Aurora offered as an afterthought. "We do need to hang out more." She smiled at the thought of possibly getting to see him more. The thought made her heart almost skip a beat. It was getting harder to ignore the physical joy her body felt from being around him. But she wouldn't admit anything to anyone. She looked at her laptop when he asked about school, and shrugged her shoulders slightly. "I had to do an observation today..." She said smiling a little bit. "But it's going well, how is school going for you?" She asked curious. She knew he wanted to be a lawyer, which meant he had just about as much work as James had. She obviously had a thing for men who wanted to lawyers.
"Oh, how's your fighting too?" She thought to ask. Even though she wasn't a fan of violence, she knew that fighting was a big part of Bryan's life. She wanted to be supportive of him. Though that didn't mean that she'd be rushing to see him get the crap beat out of him anytime soon. She would still ask about it.
